Congress gives thumbs up to teleworking

As reported almost everywhere (including AP) the House has approved legislation requiring the head of every federal agency to put together policies allowing workers to telework, or work from home or a convenient location (where appropriate). Under the new legislation employees will be permitted to work from home at least 20 pe rcent of the hours worked in a two-week period. There's a nice piece about it in the Washington Post by Stephen Barr which is well worth a browse.

  1. Just wait until the bureaucrats get their hands on writing all the rules and regulations for this. It will quickly become so convoluted and cumbersome that it will be completely unworkable.
