
Another entry for the 'sheds as art' folder, these tree huts have been set up in New York’s Madison Square Garden by Tadashi Kawamata in an installation called Madison Square Tree Huts: his aim is to challenge our idea of urban public space. They were built in situ using rubber to protect the trees and high enough to stop people actually getting into them. More details at the
