The exhibition
A Modest Proposal which runs until September 13 at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art in Sunderland is a collection of work from international artists celebrating the inspiration of Jonathan Swift and his famous essay. Among the pieces on show is
James Rigler's 'Shed' which the NGCA describes as:
"an oddly-sized garden shed 'improved' with a gothic spire - elevating the most suburban, English and parochial of structures into a temple for contemplation."
