The excitement is mounting - over at the shedblog, Uncle Wilco has just announced the category winners for Shed of the Year. Now the jury is out - Wilco, myself, Sarah Beeny and Rico Daniels - as we sit to decide the overall winner of the Shed of the Year trophy sponsored by Walton Garden Buildings and Teacher's Whisky. Look out for an announcement here on Wednesday. Look out soon as well for the results of the photo competition and the 'Who would you like to show around your shed' public vote.
The winner of the Garden Office category, sponsored by The Shed magazine and Shedworking, was Alan Davies for his Troopers Den in Horsham, pictured. A home-built bespoke office, it has its own power distribution, 2 ring mains internally and 2 seperate UPS backed feeds for PC use. There is a triangular Storage area measuring approx 3m x 3.5m, with a main office 3m x 3.5m. It's doubleglazed throughout. Click here to see more pictures. Well done Alan.
thanks Alex, for all your help.
