If you're after the ultimate in live/work shedworking space and have £700,000 about your person, how about buying artist Augustus John's Studio in Fordingbridge, Hants, which is on with the Modern House Estate Agency at their highly swish site here. It was built in 1933 as a studio for John and is a rather lovely Grade II-listed building designed by architect Christopher Nicholson. The first floor was the space used by John as a studio and has a lovely high ceiling, tall windows and in-built window seats on which his models would have posed, often fairly naked.
