Three useful sites for shedworkers and other homeworkers in the US:
1) Undress4Success - Run by Kate Lister and Tom Harnish who say: "We've been working from home for over 20 years consulting, building a very successful aviation business believe it or not, and writing. Here you'll find lessons we learned along the way, tips on how to make your work-at-home dreams come true, and advice on how to avoid some of the mistakes we've made and the scams we've encountered."
2) Best Workplaces for Commuters - Managed by the Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida, the site provides lists of Best Workplaces for Commuters, offers a web-based tool to help employers assess the impact of their organisation's commuter benefits, and generally provides lots of answers to key questions plus onward links.
3) Both the above recommendations come from ecopreneurist, an interesting site which "covers the latest trends in building green, sustainable and socially responsible companies and products" and is part of the Green Options Media network which "combines the observations of a wide variety of well known writers in the sustainable business eco-sphere".
