An extra book for your bookshelf this week, Jo Orchard-Lisle's Fishing Huts: The Angler's Sanctuary is just out in hardback from Excellent Press and takes a long and illustrated look at fishermen's shelters in Scotland, England and Wales.
Among those featured is Isaak Walton's retreat on the Dove, a tin bothy in the Scottish Highlands and FM Halford's in Mottisfont (below). I've not actually seen the book yet but it looks very tempting.
