How to improve your garden office acoustics

Decent acoustics are not high on most shedworkers' wish list beyond a general desire to work in a space which doesn't sound like an entrance hall or a tunnel. However, for musicians it's a crucial question of top importance. There's a useful thread on the Sound on Sound magazine forum and a whole section devoted to Studio Design/Acoustics which is also well worth a long browse.
Pictured above is the Disco Shed which has its very own delightful acoustics.
Tuesday posts are sponsored by The Home Office Company, manufacturers of unique garden rooms since 1998. Now in 10 exciting new colours. Click here for more details.

  1. I can see how that might also be useful to deaden the sound of any machinery you are running in the shed.
