Work Shacks sets up local homeworking group

Now here's a great idea from Jane Giffard-Tiney at Work Shacks. She is setting up and sponsoring an informal, friendly group of people who all have one thing in common - they work from home. The Harborough Area Home-working Alliance meets in the Old Grammar School on the first Thursday of each month (the first meeting of 2010 was today and 15 people attended which I think is a smashing start), from 9am till 11am, and it's entirely free. "I hope HAHA will help people to socialise with like-minded, forward-thinking people, promote their business and help promote each others' businesses, as well as be entertained and informed by visiting speakers," says Jane. And there's tea, coffee and biscuits.
