Even if you have a wonderfully well-insulated garden office, you may still need slippers (I certainly do). Shedworking writer Clare Dudman has posted her most recent feet warmers, bought from the National Trust, which also contain small bags of wheat and lavender in the flaps on top of the instep and under the soles: you warm the bags in the microwave then insert them into the slippers (there are other colours and smells too including cow...). We watch with interest to see the reports on the results... If you wear slippers in your shedworking atmosphere, please do send a photo and I'll put them up on the site.

Waiting for a cold day, Alex. It's quite warm at the moment - no that I'm complaining you understand!
