Follydock

Follydock was an exhibition of follies in Rotterdam in 2007 (never say that Shedworking is not the first with the breaking news) which encouraged architects to come up with something for the harbour area which was really imaginative. There are lots of marvellous examples of shedlike structures at the site, but here are two that caught the Shedworking staff's fancy in particular: above is the House of Ki built of willow and loam by Jan van Shaik, below Captain Holland by Alexander Filimonova, a shedlike house with special flood platform for flood emergencies.Hat tip (do we still say that on the interwebs?) to Judit Bellostes
