These look very much like the net shops in the old town in Hastings..?

Net shops, Rock a Nore, Hastings, East Sussex.

My cousin has a shed that looks like this in his backyard. It's two stories, long and skinny like the ones in your image. The bottom is for storage of stuff and the top is a play house for the kids. It's actually pretty cool looking.
