Boat cabin-inspired shed remodel

A nice piece on msn looks at the refurbishment of a turn of the century redwood shed into a "handy backyard living space". Designed by Sagerman & Co, architect and client Evan Sagerman says boat cabins were his design inspiration:

"I grew up sailing. Being on boats taught me how important it is to give things in small spaces multiple functions. You move through it in a straight line, with the bed as a stop at one end and the bathroom as a stop at the other. Everything is built in along that line."
