Just a quick word to say that the
Historical Shepherds Huts site - arguably the best place to go for information on shepherds' huts on the interwebs - is now fully up and running in its new reincarnation. If you haven't been to it before you're in for a treat as it is "a web-based archive dedicated to recording Historic Shepherds Hut survivors and the forgotten part they once played in our Country's rich Agricultural past". Particularly good pages on
Boulton & Paul and the
anatomy of a hut including this picture of a hut with its original lamb racks in place.
