Bestselling writer
Betty Birney, author of the bestselling Humphrey books for children, visited my sons' school yesterday as part of World Book Week and I was delighted to discover that she is a shedworker. Here's what she says about it (pictured above):
"This little blue house is where I spend most of my time, writing, reading and dreaming. Sometimes I'm visited by my dog Desi, or by lizards that wander in. Now and then I get a rude awakening as avocados bounce off the roof from the huge tree nearby. At other times I go outside to play catch with Desi or watch the hummingbirds."
Rather more exotic than Shedworking HQ where the equivalents are apples and bluetits.
