Planning your garden office interior
There's a nifty little tool from mydeco on The Independent site which allows you to drag and drop furniture, doors, windows, carpets, etc, onto your chosen room shape and see what it would look like before actually buying them all. You can also get a 3D angle on it all rather than just from above. It's aimed at rooms in houses but it's ideal for shedworkers too. You can also go direct to the mydeco site where you can also upload a photo of your garden office and then drag objects into it - even if you're not planning to redecorate, it's a pleasant fantasy shed decorating game for elevenses. If you do have a go, please send me the results and we'll stick them up on Shedworking. A small festive prize for the best.

Plantation shutters are one option that can really improve the looks of your windows. These shutters look great, and usually look so nice you don't even need to add a valance or curtains like you do with blinds or shades. They are usually made of wood, wood composite or imitation wood. They can be custom made to fit any window, even those with odd shapes and curves that are hard to fit with many window treatment options. There are many different types of finishes and colors, so they can be made to match the décor in your house.Virginia Plantation shutters
