Friday Shed Art - Kit Allsopp

I did my first shed painting as a one-off for a laugh and frankly I became pretty obsessed. I tried to move away but I was hooked and kept coming back to them. The shed theme came from a fascination with those simple architectural forms which you can find all over the world — orthogonal box/pitched roof. It’s a fantastic archetype. House, barn, beach hut, railway shed: you name it, it’s a shed.

I did build quite a few shed-like buildings over the years and got very comfortable with the form and its seemingly endless possibilities. Start with the shed and let’s see what we can do with it.
