Pyjamas as daywear

Shedworking's staff tend not to spend much time on the fashion pages, so apologies for being a mere six months behind the news that Prada have this year been pushing pyjamas/pajamas as genuine daywear, which will come as interesting news to homeworkers and shedworkers around the world. An example from their summer collection is pictured above. More on this from Trendhunter who are more in the know. Personally, it doesn't work for me but I'd be interested to hear what you think.

  1. Absolutely WONDERFUL!!

There are days when working at home that I don't get dressed until my son is about to come home from school at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Of course, at the moment, my office is in my bedroom, so that's not too much of a stretch, but still, it's not because I'm a slacker, it's because from the moment I get out of bed, I'm at work.

Of course now with teleconferences with skype where people can see what we are wearing, my boss and I know what each other's jammies look like more than perhaps we should.

Having an office of my own - which I have to walk to (across the back yard) will hopefully end the days of pajama working.

Also, I've found that taking a short walk in the morning before starting work makes me put on clothes that wouldn't mortify my neighbors.

But yes, I think it's a real trend! Good work Alex!
