Everybody in Ireland works from home
Well, maybe not quite all, but 30% do according to a new survey by BT Ireland, as reported on ENN by Emmet Ryan. Apparently, 44% of Dubliners, 34% of Limerickians and 32% of Corkonians work from home on a regular basis. Emer Kennedy, BT Ireland's director of Consumer Services, told ENN: "The increase in broadband availability has given people greater freedom and facilitated their changes... You usually get a lot happier employees when they are permitted to work from home. It makes it easier to accommodate their lifestyle. It also contributes to having less people on the road."
