The E-den

John Tucker, Director of Somerset-based Traditional Timber Tradesmen, has designed and built two very different but intriguing shedlike structures which would make marvellous garden offices. a practical, sophisticated space solution. The E-den, pictured above, has an unusual curved shape (6’9” wide x 11’6” long x 6’9” high internally) and is clad in Cornish larch. It's built on a steel frame, is fully insulated and sports a lockable stable door with large velux window. Options include a timber deck and canvas canopy.

The Hut is a contemporary take on the shepherd's hut, insulated and fully wired, it measures 12ft x 6ft with locally sourced larch as external cladding and a flat roof specifically designed to be planted out as a 'green roof'. Both models are built and finished in the Traditional Timber Tradesmen workshop and can be delivered and installed in a day.
