The Remote Worker Awards - in association with BT Business - are back after last year's success (I'm one of the judges again too). Shedworking particularly likes these awards for two reasons: firstly, they shine a spotlight on employers and employees who are keen to use flexible working approaches such as shedworking, and secondly because they actually give one lucky person the chance to try out shedworking for themselves.
There are 10 award categories covering everything from people who intend to start up an internet business to employers who promote homeworking and the Babyworld Parentpreneur Award which is open to businesses that can show the most successful business and family combination.
Shedworking is especially delighted with the inclusion of the OfficePOD Award for employees and employers who want to change the way they work and be involved with alternative workplace revolution of shedworking: the winner of this award will receive an OfficePOD for six months worth £5,5k. A full list of the other award categories can be found at www.remoteworkerawards.com.
