I missed the instructions! I feel like the spy who was left out in the cold! The battalions landed in Normandy without radios! (Just ordered Anthony Beevor's D-day book, am revving up for 2009's next big anniversary, the start of WW2)
it was used in the filming of The Great Escape. Sir Alec Guiness spent time here when he was released from the 'hot box' and then the building was bombed when Rambo came to rescue the prisoners in First Blood II.
