Insuring your garden office

Getting good home/work insurance for your garden office is a topic that's obviously important to many shedworkers so we were delighted to see that our friends at Enterprise Nation have a package on their site with Direct Line which they say is suitable for businesses and individuals based at home and comes with business contents and stock cover, public and product liability, reimbursement for loss of income and cover for theft - Direct Line specifically say the cover is for those who "Work out of their home or outbuildings on their property". Oooh very timely Alex - my renewal papers have come through today and Direct Line wouldn't insure us for shedworking last year. Glad they've changed their minds

I would take another look at your policy with Direct Line, it states in the small print that the walls of the building must be built solely of brick, stone or concrete.

I can not get insurance anywhere!
