The Longhirst Project: garden office

A lovely garden office designed and built in South London by The Longhirst Project (whose website has some other marvellous shedlike structures) for a shedworker who runs a print management business. The original spec included a bicycle store, fully opening corner bi-folding doors, cantilevered (and green) roof and a large deck/seating area. The whole building is clad in tropical hardwood IPE and among the features are an electric roof vent to help with extra ventilation on warmer days, and state of the art electric underfloor heating. Lots more photos at their Flickr site here.
