We've got a couple of lockdown garden office build posts coming up over the next few weeks, and here's a nice 4.8m x 3m one from eDEN Garden Rooms in Streatham, London, being used as an office and general family garden space. The order was placed in January this year and scheduled for March but what with the imposition of lockdown regulations there were a couple of delays until it was erected during the summer.
"Since it was necessary for our team to have access through the house, we worked while the family were not at home," explains Rachel Wichall from eDEN, "and of course adhered to all procedures by wearing face masks and regularly sanitising hands and surfaces."
The build including clearing an existing shed and surrounding overgrown area, being careful of the newly-installed artificial grass area to the front of the new garden office. Features include a shed storage area, sliding doors, and fire retardant panels on all boundary-facing elevations in order to comply with building regulations.
