Australian artist and writer
Norman Lindsay was something of a multiple-shedworker. His first wooden studio was replaced by a stone one called the Etching Studio which also had a verandah and was later lived in by his daughter Jane. The second was made from a building material he made himself using his own coke and cement blocks (this was a bit rickety and was taken down about 80 years ago).
