Can Archipod crack the US shedworking market?

We've talked before several times about whether shedworking will take off in the USA as it has done in the UK so we were particularly intrigued to read James Reed's piece at The Business Desk about how Yorkshire firm ABF, which makes the Archipods, is starting to take off in the USA where it launched its garden office design this week in New York. ABF managing director Darren Buttle told Reed: “It’s going extremely well in New York. It’s such an important city for us when you consider the size and scale of the business community... Orders are already coming through, and we’re confident we can build on our success to date in the US and continue our upwards trajectory." He added that the firm was also looking at Canada, Brazil and South East Asia.

Indeed, the Archipod web site has a dedicated US site as well as a UK one and is also selling through other US outlets such as Hammacher Schlemmer. We will watch them with interest...
