Shedinburgh Fringe Festival returns

After last year's very successful launch (see previously on Shedworking),  the Shedinburgh Fringe Festival is back next month. The brainchild of producers Francesca Moody and Harriet Bolwell and writer/performer Gary McNair, it's going to be run along similar lines, what they describe as "an online festival of the best of the Fringe stalwarts of theatre, music and comedy". Live performances come from sheds at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh and Soho Theatre in London and artists are also streaming remotely from their own sheds.

The series of one-night-only shows runs August 3 - 30 and will also include the TEDx-inspired SHEDx, a series of free-to-watch 10 minute talks from Fringe talent and industry leaders on the theme of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Lots more details (and shed-ule, groan, at the link above).
