Here is the latest project from
Roomworks, a small music room/pod in London. Here's what Paul Barton from Roomworks says about the build:
There was a bit of a design conflict because the client required slimline walls because of limited space but at the same time required extra acoustic performance. It's not a soundproofed structure which is always tricky with glass elevations but soundbloc plasterboard made a significant difference - a layer of reflective insulation compensated for a reduction on the SIPs panel thickness. Micro-fine aluminium blinds trapped in the airspace of the sealed units added a little extra sparkle!
