Airstream mobile studio

A fabulous article on the estimable dwell blog by Andreas Stavropoulos with cracking photos from Mark Compton, focuses on Andreas' refurbishment of a 1959 Airstream travel trailer to act as a mobile shedworking studio which he could put to good use as a landscape architect. Here's an excerpt:
I set about creating a mobile studio that could travel to the site and where I could work during the early and critical stages of concept design. The studio had to allow me to be productive, but also put me squarely in the environment. It also had to be a showcase of my design sensibilities.
Well worth a browse with more photos at their slideshow.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
