If you were intrigued by the post earlier this month about working on wheels, take a look at Steven Roberts' spectacular
Nomadic Research Labs site. Essentially, Roberts customised his recumbent bicycle to include a portable computer so he could pedal around the US and write about the journey on the road, what he calls 'high-tech nomadness'. Some amazing pictures and it's well worth having a look around the rest of the site, especially the Behemoth section and Microship Adventure (where he details how he is putting together an amphibian pedal/solar/sail micro-trimaran, designed for technomadic adventure).
