Lockdown feels like a tipping point for shedworking and garden offices (in a good way). Hits to this site are up, enquiries to me about garden offices are up, I'm being contacted by all kinds of people about my thoughts on working from home. Here's an interesting article backing this feeling up by
The New York Times which points out: "Millions of Americans are taking part in an unprecedented experiment in
working from home. Many are happier, more efficient and want to hang
onto the benefits when the pandemic ends." Here's a snippet:
"At least one poll from early in the pandemic suggests a strong
preference for remote work. Gallup found that almost 60 percent of
Americans working from home would prefer to work remotely “as much as
possible” after restrictions are lifted, with 40 percent saying they
preferred to return to the workplace."
