Beach Hut of the Year 2011

Julia Lee-Delisle's beach hut ‘No 60 West Wittering’ has won the Beach Hut of the Year 2011 competition as well as the Best Presented Hut section prize. Julia, from Newbury, who runs her a silver jewellery business and also teaches speech and drama, won the contest run by insurers TL Risk Solutions. Julia told the Chichester Observer: “I wanted my hut to be a fun and ‘delicious’ place to be, so good you could almost eat it. With a twist of shabby chic, mixing old with new, everything in my hut is red or white, or a bit of both." Wittering is where Keith 'Rolling Stone' Richards owns a beach hut.
