Simon and Berny Boyd run their events business from a garden office at their home in Newbury. The Inovar model from Norwegian Log is their new HQ (replacing unwanted decking) after moving from their previous converted barn premises nearby. It measures 4m x 4m and is also popular with their dog Jarvis who frequently spends time with them in the shedlike atmosphere.
“We liked all the nice little touches like the lights, bi-fold doors and heaters," said Simon. "It really fitted our needs down to the ground. We are no more than 30 paces from the back door and we are already saving on costs such as petrol, rent, rates, phone and electricity. It’s such a nice place to work and so quiet. We’re also positive we’ve increased the value of our house.” --------------------------------------------------------
