UK’s first interactive virtual garden room showroom (video)
Summer House 24, part of the international Hansa Garden Group, has launched the UK’s first interactive virtual garden room showroom in Totnes, Devon. The company has developed the software to provide prospective customers with an intriguing opportunity to see their ideal garden room come to life in a fully immersive experience (see video below).
Using the HTC Vive virtual reality system, buyers can now walk through the building and change the layout and colour, windows, doors, furniture and more. HTC Vive users can download the free software from the company’s website and access the virtual showroom from their home or office (or indeed shed).
John McQueen, CEO of Summer House 24, said: “We strive to bring our customers something different every time. That could be our modern looking Hansa line range of cabin designs, functionality such as German made Roto tilt and turn windows or exceptional value. Now, we are proud to continue our innovation and lead the way by bringing interactive virtual reality technology to the garden building sector”.
Summer House 24 is a newish name in the garden room world but has seen impressive growth figures over the last three years and is now rolling out display sites across the UK.
