Garden office business booming

I talk to garden office suppliers all the time and while on the whole they were, like everyone, worried at the start of lockdown about the viability of their businesses, in the last couple of months I'm hearing that business is booming. Here's an example from the Bury Mercury which covers the success of Smart (an example of their work is pictured above) whose MD Matt Moss told the paper that their normal rate of 20 builds a month has now risen to more like 30, that they have taken on new staff, and erected new showrooms. Here's what he said:

“Leads and order books have been growing rapidly as working from home became the new and long-term normal for many workers, whether employed or self-employed. As a result of this upsurge in interest and purchases, Smart took the decision to both restructure and expand our workforce to effectively meet this demand. Working from home has well and truly arrived."
