Garden room in small garden of terraced house

Although many people think you need a vast garden for a garden room or garden office, the truth is that you can get a very decent-sized build into most back gardens. Here's a nice example from eDEN Garden Rooms who put the above together in Muswell Hill, London (despite the images, it was actually carried out during the recent very snowy March).

It measures 4m x 2.5m to make best use of the long narrow garden and previously unused area. There was no side access to the property so the eDEN team brought the materials - carefully - through the client's home. Here's what eDEN's Mia Walmsely says about the build:
eDEN’s initial construction team, Spencer and Pierre, cleared the garden of an existing shed and shrubs, creating the perfect environment to start the build. They then continued to install the screwpile foundations, ready for the build team to start construction. The team were on-site for a total of just two weeks, with different tradesmen efficiently scheduled around build, including an electrician and plasterer.

To the right-hand side of the garden room, we integrated a hidden storage facility, to house all of the items from the old shed. The building was finished with a simple decking step to the front of the garden room, perfect for sitting outside on a summer evening.
