The rise and rise of the beach hut

A nice piece in The Guardian by Sirin Kale - Sun, swimming, smoking and seagulls: a day in the life of beach hut Britain - takes a stroll along the prom in Brighton and Hove and includes chats with plenty of beach hut owners, largely about the problems of locks. Some lovely photos and it gives a real sense of why people love their huts so much. Well worth a read.
