Husband and wife team Paul and Julia Hitchens run their brand design business
Verve from a Surry garden office (which was bought in Holland five years ago). Talking to Sadie Nicholas in the Daily Express they say:
"The shed is a very creative space with lots of natural light... It cost about £10,000 which may sound like a lot of money but we’d have spent far more than that every year on renting a commercial office space. It has revolutionised our working lives. We can fit in our work around the school run and keep home and work separate. The shed is also a very creative space with lots of natural light and the big benefit to our clients is that we’re not passing on the cost of huge overheads."
