What do you think of George Clarke's Amazing Spaces?

We asked on Twitter and got some interesting responses. What do you think? The series continues on Channel 4 on Tuesdays at 8pm. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. It reminds me of Richard Ball's "Space Craft" series from the 1980s.

It's been a long time since that was on but I remember that it went into more depth that George's series. You can get old copies of the book "Space craft: Design for compact living".

There are some nice ideas in the show but (so far) it's just sketched the surface. For exampe the shipping containers mentioned recently you could have had a whole show on those, a quick seach on google shows loads of examples.

I'd also be interested in custom storage examples for small space living

  2. It's a great series. Really good and I really like George Clark as a presenter, but why one EARTH do they keep recapping after every advert. It drives me mad! Channel 4 do this on everything (aside from Grand Designs). Channel 4, please stop it! but why one EARTH do they keep recapping after every advert. It drives me mad! 3. George, in his delivery, also repeats as superlative 'really, really, really...'
but that's probably just 'Georgie' discourse
