The Shedworking staff were delighted to discover that The Book Hut run by Maldon Books initially as a lockdown project has reopened for 2023 in Promenade Park, Maldon. Now in its third year, since its last outing the hut has had a splendid exterior makeover by two local artists. It is open every day until September with Song, Rhyme and Story Time sessions every Tuesday at 10.30am from June 13 as well as the shelves full of books. Full opening hours are: Monday - Saturday 10am - 4pm , Sundays 11am - 4pm . While you're there, consider booking one of the park's beach huts.
