Underground shedworking

We're suckers for underground microarchitecture here at Shedworking so were intrigued to chat with Neil Lankford from earthmovesdesign about the underground 'Hobbit hole' which he is building for Jimmy's Farm. It is still at the early build stages but here is the design above, designed so that it blends into the landscape and - here's the best bit - you can run up onto the top of the roof from the ground. We'll bring you more pictures when it's all finished.

  1. I have thought about digging down to get some more head height in my shed but am worried about flooding issues.
