We've all got some kind of dream shed that we hope to build once the millions roll in. And this build by Swift for a client in Kent would certainly be one of the Shedworking staff's contenders. The bespoke 9m x 5.5m space is large enough for a full-size snooker table plus a rather nice bar area.
Of course the floor needed extra reinforcement to cope with the table's weight (as did the walls for the bar paraphenalia and the roof for the lights). Other features include air conditioning (fast becoming this year's must-have option), two sets of aluminium bi-fold doors, substantial stepped decking, and a triangular window as a tribute to the glory of the baize. Outside it's clad with our old friend Western Red Cedar.
