For most garden pods, it’s recommended to reapply a wood treatment every 2–3 years, although this may vary depending on the pod’s exposure to sunlight and rain. If your pod has a more durable cladding, like cedar, it may require less frequent treatments since cedar has natural weather-resistant properties. However, a clear or tinted UV-resistant finish will help maintain its colour and prevent the wood from greying over time.
