A House for Edwin Denby

Regular Shedworking reader Arne König writes from Sweden that the Thoreau inspired cabin featured on the site earlier this week made him think of this cabin in southern Swede. It's an art installation by Robert Wilson called A House for Edwin Denby which is sited in the sculpture park at the Wanås Konst – Center for Art & Learning in Skåne. A celebration of the life and work of the Amerian poet and critic, it has a simple Shaker feel but as you approach loudspeakers relay a text of Wilson reading a text. You can't actually go into the building, but you can peer through to see a chair and table.
