Outdoor classroom shedworking

The idea of using a garden office design as a classroom in schools is really starting to take off. Here's one which is actually six classrooms from The Stable Company designed and built for a small independent Catholic day and boarding school for girls in Kingston-upon-Thames that wanted a building that would sympathetically fit in with its surroundings on a leafy part of the site.

Measuring 20.65m long x 7.25m deep externally, the building is divided into two classroom measuring 6m x 5.85m internally, and four classrooms measuring 3.84m x 3.33m internally. The classrooms facing the front of the building feature bifolding doors, which fully retract, bringing the outdoors inside. The building is clad in Thermowood and the roof is covered in cedar shingles. The front overhang is supported on green oak posts and beams. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

  1. This is a very attractive atmosphere for students and anyone would like to spend their time without refusing. I would like to install one as the study room for my kids at home.
