Flattr: micropayment scheme

You eagle-eyed folk will have noticed that this
little button is appearing at the end of each post. It's part of a micropayment system called Flattr. Rather like kachingle with which Shedworking is also experimenting. Here's a good explanation about it from a post by Daylight Gambler
Flattr, in a nut shell, works as follows: you pay a certain fixed amount per month (in my case about £5) -- as you encounter items that you want to reward (be it a photo, a video, a blog post, a useful widget etc.) you hit their ‘Flattr’ button. At the end of each month Flattr splits your monthly payment equally between those items.
Please do consider taking part in Flattr. Here's their video which explains it all.
