Waltons Shed Design Competition 2010

The design a shed competition season for 2010 is starting early with Waltons announcing a great prize for the winner of theirs: they have their shed made by Waltons for free. All you need to do is send them a sketch or some notes about the shed you have in mind (pictured above is their Devon Summer House) and why Waltons should build it. It needs to be:
* Maximum width – 1.83m
* Maximum length – 2.45m
* Maximum height - 2.5m

And use:
* 12mm thick pine wood cladding
* Pine wood framing
* 9mm thick ply wood
* OSB 10mm & 8mm thick
* Styrene glazing.

Entries can be as pdf, jpeg or indeed simply on good old paper. Closing date is March 15 next year. You can email your submission to entries@waltons.co.uk or send it to their postal address which, along with the full rules and more details, is here.
