Police boxworking

A nice piece in the Yorkshire Post by Martin Slack focuses on an 80-year-old, green police box in Sheffield city centre. And here's what's inside:
Visitors will discover a space about five feet square, with a functional shelf which also acts as a desk. There isn't even a sign of the telephone which would have originally been fitted.
After 40 years of simply not being used, it is now a contact point for the city centre's ambassadors who help people out with their queries in the town centre. While quite cosy inside, they have deliberately not made it too comfortable in case the ambassadors spend too much time there instead of actually going out and meeting people.
Thanks to Philip 'Dad' Johnson for the alert
