Container City is a great idea from Urban Space Management Ltd: it takes old steel shipping containers, sticks them together and turns them into live/work spaces (and nurseries, youth centres and shops). It's fast, environmentally friendly and successful as can be seen at Container City at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London and Container City II right next door which is connected by bridges, lift and disabled access. The shedlike building rises colourfully over five floors.
